GERMANY ART PRIZE 2025/26

  • The application period is underway.

  • Artists can submit up to six (1–6) works digitally.
  • Applicants under the age of 36 pay no processing fee (€0.00) for one (1) submitted work.
  • The digitally submitted works will be viewed by a jury of experts on a large screen. The nominated works qualify for the final jury meeting, which will take place later.
  • The three winners will be selected at the final jury meeting.
  • The following art prizes are awarded in a ceremonial setting in June each year at different locations in Germany:
  • “ART PRIZE GERMANY 2025/26 for Painting”
  • “ART PRIZE GERMANY 2025/26 for Sculpture / Object”
  • “ART PRIZE GERMANY 2025/26 for Photography / Digital Art”

Art Prize Book: Publication of a print version and a digital version (e-book) of the ART PRIZE GERMANY 2025/26, exclusively presenting the nominated works (photos, titles, texts), the works of the art prize winners, and their names.

Patron for 2025/26: Former gallery owner Hargen Depelmann (Langenhagen).

GERMAN ART PRIZE 2024/25

The art prize winners: Katerina Belkina (Brandenburg), Siegfried Luffler (Baden-Württemberg), and Jens Pollak (Saxony).
Siegfried Luffler with the sculpture “In Focus,” Katerina Belkina with the digital art work “Greeting the Rising Star,” and Jens Pollak with the painting “Balloons” made it. Among over 560 submitted works by artists from over 20 countries, the artists living in Ilshofen, Werder (Havel), and Großpostwitz prevailed and can now call themselves winners of the German Art Prize 2024/25. The award ceremony took place on June 21, 2025, at the “Central-Hotel-Kaiserhof” (Hannover).
The patron for 2024/25 was Prince Heinrich of Hannover (Göttingen).
