GERMANY ART PRIZE 2026/27
- The application period is underway.

- Artists can submit up to five (1-6) works digitally.
- Applicants under the age of 36 pay no processing fee (€0.00) for one (1) submitted work.
- The digitally submitted works will be viewed by a jury of experts on a large screen. The nominated works qualify for the final jury meeting.
- The three winners will be selected at the final jury meeting.
- The following art prizes are awarded in a ceremonial setting in June each year at different locations in Germany:
- “ART PRIZE GERMANY 2026/27 for Painting / Graphic”
- “ART PRIZE GERMANY 2026/27 for Sculpture / Object”
- “ART PRIZE GERMANY 2026/27 for Photography / Digital Art”
Art Prize Book: Publication of a print version and a digital version (e-book) of the ART PRIZE GERMANY 2026/27, exclusively presenting the nominated works (photos, titles, texts), the works of the art prize winners, and their names.
Patron for 2026/27: Prof. Dr. Stefan Knobloch (Theologian and author from Passau, Bavaria).
GERMANY ART PRIZE 2025/26
174 artists from Germany and abroad submitted 475 works for the KUNSTPREIS DEUTSCHLAND (slogan: “Art powers future”). Forty artists were nominated by the expert jury.
The jury-selected prize winners are Kari A. Kalthoff (Hamburg/Digital Art), Wolfgang Hiltscher (Sculpture/Göttingen), and Michael Gerstl (Oberzell/Painting). The Public Choice Award winner is Sascha Holzmann (Krefeld/Digital Art).
The KUNSTPREIS DEUTSCHLAND 2025/26 awards ceremony took place on June 20 at the Hotel DER ACHTERMANN in Goslar.
